• Bishop Robert E. Henson

    For more than thirty-seven years, Rev. Robert E. Henson served as the Pastor of South Flint Tabernacle in Flint (Burton), Michigan. He previously served pastorates in Texas and Indiana. He has now given more than fifty years to Apostolic ministry. Currently, he serves as Bishop of South Flint Tabernacle and within a network of numerous other churches and para-ministries. He is a graduate of Texas Bible College.

    While living in Indiana, he also served for seven years as the Youth President for the Indiana District of the United Pentecostal Church International. Previous to that he was the Editor of the Indiana District UPCI periodical, the Indiana Apostolic Trumpet.

    Since living in Michigan, he served sixteen years as a Presbyter and member of the Michigan District Board of the UPCI. He was also the Home Missions Director for the Michigan District UPCI for one year. For 2016 and 2017, he served as General Executive Presbyter of the UPCI for the North Central Region. He has been privileged to speak at many regional, national and international meetings.

  • Pastor Jason McGhee

    On October 16, 2016 Pastor Jason McGhee was elected to be Pastor of South Flint Tabernacle. Pastor Jason and First Lady Jerusha McGhee have faithfully served in full-time ministry at South Flint Tabernacle since 2011. Pastor McGhee is an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International and has completed a Certificate Program from the Urshan Graduate School of Theology in Teaching Toward Apostolic Objectives and Preaching & Teaching for Church Growth. In addition, Pastor and Lady McGhee have completed their four-year diploma in Ministerial Studies from Purpose Institute. Pastor McGhee received an MBA from the University of Michigan and holds a BSBA in Accounting. Lady McGhee has received a degree in Child Psychology and both are certified in Anger Management. With the combination of spiritual development and professional leadership development, Pastor Jason and First Lady Jerusha McGhee focus on impacting their community in positive ways. Pastor McGhee is also Native American and is part of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians.
